Bought new style of running shoes, different from my usual pair. Staff were helpful and knowlegeable.

Great experience, cheapest price for the same product anywhere. Excellent customer service before and after sales. Speedy delivery with regular updates of tracking the parcel. Easy to use and navigate the website.
Overall it was so good I didn't expect it to be for real !

All shop staff were friendly and welcoming. They offered great service, gave me good advice and helped me to find what I needed. When the gait analysis wasn't available, due to the treadmill not working, the assistant advised me that there was somewhere else in the city that did gait analysis, meaning I could still get that done before buying the correct style running shoe that day. Fantastic customer service, putting the customer needs first, particularly as I wasn't local enough to come back another day. I appreciated the customer service so much, that after having my gait analysis done, I promptly returned to this shop to make my purchase. The selection of shoes available were very good and the assistants were very patient and knowledgeable, helping me to find the most comfortable and supportive shoes for my needs.

Fantastic experience in Runners Need, Norwich with Lisa. I had gait analysis and then was recommended the running trainers that would suit my running style. Unfortunately the pair I needed weren't in stock in my size but I was able to order them to home. Delivery was free and they arrived the next day. Excellent service.

Bought running shoes worn once and the tread has wear after 30 minutes. Runnersneeds not interested and say I have to jump through hoops to even get someone to look at them. They expect there to be wear after 30 minutes use so I would avoid buying anything from here if you want quality.

Arrived late! The Next Day delivery is NOT next day and customer services couldn't care less.
I won't be using again

Bought a "new" pair of On Cloud Cloud Flow for £130. They arrived today in a damaged box, placed on top of the usual tissue wrapping, clearly worn with dirt on the bottom, bobbled material inside and dents on the outside.

My options are send back for a refund then repurchase (living no where near a post office isn't convenient at the best of times!) or getting a partial refund (£30. So £100 for a second hand pair of trainers is the offer)

I paid £130, I want a nice new pair of trainers!

Bought some Brooks GTS 8 trainers online with Runners Need as I couldn’t find them in person in a shop anywhere and had a very positive experience from start to finish.

The website was easy to use and the delivery arrived within a couple of days as advised.

The reason why I feel the need to write a review is that the post-sale service was excellent. There was a bit of confusion with Parcel Force around whether or not my delivery was still with my local Post Office, as I took a few days to collect it.

I called Runners Need’s contact line to check the situation on a Sunday morning with a sense of dread that I’d get nowhere. However, to my surprise within a minute or two I was speaking to Courtney who was helpful, efficient, and resolved all my queries. It turns out my trainers were still with my local Post Office and I have them now :)

Very helpful and full of knowledge about the best trainers for me. They’re an expensive purchase so it’s got to be right, I was also swapping brands which, as crazy as it sounds, was a big deal for my feet!! Very happy with the recommendations based on knowledge , experience and great service.

Unfortunately couldn’t give zero. Went to Runners Need in Cotswold Outdoor Shop, Cirencester yesterday (28.05.22). In need of a new running top and shorts. Not one of the female items I looked at had a price tag. No one in Runners Need to help (I couldn’t see 1 member of staff). Took 1 pair of shorts to Cotswold Main Outdoor tills to find out the price. They were on a hanger labelled size 10, decided I’d waisted enough time in Runners Need, so purchased them as I trust the Nike brand. Drove home to discover wrong size shorts on correct size 10 hanger. No receipt in my email inbox. I won’t be shopping again at Runners Need. This is 2 out of 2 bad experiences (the last time I popped in was for shoes and I couldn’t get the attention of the staff). Cotswold Outdoor used to have a really great running section, with great staff, this outsourced service (I’m guessing), is just no where near as good as it used to be. Not only is there no staff but the range of products on offer is extremely limited. I’ll continue with Cotswold Outdoor but wouldn’t touch Runners Need if you paid me.

Lance in the Leyden Street shop was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when I visited for an impromptu gait test. Despite being busy and looking after a couple of other challenging customers he took the time to explain the analysis and offered me several shoes to try to ensure I could leave with the right pair. He demonstrated excellent customer service that is very rare to find these days. I purchased the shoes he recommended and will be returning when I need a new pair!

Exeter store 2nd visit today totally different from the first.
The first visit I had a 30 minute slot booked for my gait analysis as the lady was also dealing with 3 other customers I didn't get help in understanding the difference between the trainer's no gait analysis just given 4 pairs to try.
The 2nd visit I was served by Jonny totally different experience
He listened to my concerns about my first visit I then tried 4 trainer's again but this time on the treadmill he observed them all and recommended the oasis over the ones I first bought.
